The Casablanca apartments in Alcossebre make up the Casablanca complex, a group of white buildings topped with domes right on the seafront at Playa Romana, south of the centre of Alcossebre (Alcalà de Xivert, Castellón). Between the complex and the sand there's nothing but garden and palm trees.
It's accommodation designed for large families and family groups: the three-bedroom apartments sleep up to seven and the two-bedroom ones up to six, so grandparents, parents and grandchildren can holiday together without sacrificing space.

What the Casablanca apartments are like
All the apartments have a kitchen open to the living room, a bathroom with bath and a large terrace. There are two main groups:
| Type | Sleeps | Example locations |
|---|---|---|
| 2 bedrooms | 4 people + 2 on the sofa bed (4/6) | Ground floor (garden or side view) or upper floor with sea views |
| 3 bedrooms | 5 people + 2 (5/7) | Ground floor, at garden level |
The ground-floor apartments open straight onto the garden and pools, which is very practical with young children or older people. Those on the upper floors have views of the sea and the beach. Some apartments have bunk beds or a trundle bed; every property is different, so it's worth checking the description of the specific apartment before you book.

Pools, gardens and palm trees
The complex has extensive gardens with palm trees and outdoor pools for adults and children. The pools are seasonal and have opening hours, which you'll be told on arrival. From the edge of the pool you can see the sea: the complex is literally on the beachfront.

Location: Playa Romana, 800 metres from the centre
The Casablanca complex is on Camí de l'Atall, about 800 metres from the centre of Alcossebre, with restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and small shops nearby. Along the Senda Litoral, a wooden boardwalk by the sea, you can walk to Cargador beach and the seafront promenade. To the south lie the town's quieter coves and beaches.
Playa Romana is about 500 metres long, with fine sand, good accessibility and a Blue Flag in 2026. In the Playa Romana guide we tell you everything you need to know, and in the beaches of southern Alcossebre we cover El Moro, Tres Platges and Manyetes.
Who the Casablanca complex is for
- Large families and family groups of up to seven people per apartment.
- Anyone who wants a beachfront apartment and to forget about the car for the whole holiday.
- Families with children who like having a pool and garden on the doorstep.
The apartments don't accept groups of young people or pets. If you're looking for other seafront options, compare them in beachfront apartments in Alcossebre.
Things to do near the Casablanca complex

Tips for a big family holiday
- Choose the right floor: if grandparents or young children are coming, the ground floor avoids stairs and gives direct access to the garden.
- Check the beds: some apartments have bunk beds or a trundle bed, ideal for children.
- Book July and August early, when the three-bedroom apartments are most in demand.
- June and September are good months for family groups: the beach is quieter and the sea is still warm.
