Renting a beachfront apartment in Alcossebre means reaching the sand without crossing busy roads and, in many cases, seeing the sea from your terrace. Alcossebre has more than 10 kilometres of coastline, but the beachfront accommodation is concentrated in three stretches: Playa Romana, the Cargador seafront promenade and Las Fuentes, next to the marina.
Which beachfront area to choose
| Area | Atmosphere | Ideal for | Apartment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Playa Romana | Peaceful, long fine sandy beach | Large families | Casablanca complex |
| Cargador promenade | Lively, restaurants and ice-cream parlours | Couples and families who want everything on foot | Ibiza apartments |
| Las Fuentes (marina) | Seafront promenade and marina | Families with young children | Jardines del Puerto |
Playa Romana: the Casablanca complex
The Casablanca complex sits right on the seafront at Playa Romana. It's the option with the most space: two-bedroom apartments for 4/6 people and three-bedroom apartments for 5/7, with seasonal pools and gardens with palm trees. The upper-floor apartments have sea views; the ground-floor ones open straight onto the garden.

The Cargador promenade: Ibiza apartments
The Ibiza apartments are on the seafront promenade at Cargador beach, the town's main beach, with an unbroken Blue Flag since 1987. They're three-bedroom duplexes for six, with a sea-view terrace and an outdoor parking space. The building has stairs, and in high season guests can use a nearby pool. It's the choice if you want cafés, ice-cream parlours and restaurants on the doorstep. See the Ibiza apartments listing.

Las Fuentes, by the marina: Jardines del Puerto
The Jardines del Puerto apartments are on the seafront in Las Fuentes, right next to the marina. They have a large pool, a children's pool and free parking, a very convenient combination for families with young children. You can see the details on the Jardines del Puerto listing.

If you can't find dates on the beachfront
Beachfront apartments fill up before the rest, especially in July and August. A nearby alternative at Playa Romana is the Nova Romana apartments, in the same area though not on the seafront, with a garden, adult and children's pools, and one- and three-bedroom apartments. More information on the Nova Romana listing.

Tips for renting on the beachfront
- Book ahead for July and August: they're the busiest months.
- Check whether the apartment is on the ground floor or higher up: higher floors usually have sea views; ground floors, direct access to the garden.
- Ask whether the building has a lift: not all of them do.
- If you're driving, consider complexes with parking included.
Before you decide, take a look at the Playa Romana guide and the southern coves and beaches, or go back to the Casablanca complex page.
